The project involves rebuilding the station where pig iron is tipped over from the torpedo to the ladle in the steelworks and will lead to better service accessibility by traverse. SSAB is also supplementing the project with a new station for cleaning and an alloying system directly into the ladle.    <\/p>\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-gallery has-nested-images columns-default is-cropped wp-block-gallery-1 is-layout-flex wp-block-gallery-is-layout-flex\">\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" height=\"462\" data-id=\"7572\" src=\"https:\/\/vinab.se\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/02\/c911d323-f47f-4c23-aa2f-7a672ff5693e.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-7572\" srcset=\"https:\/\/vinab.se\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/02\/c911d323-f47f-4c23-aa2f-7a672ff5693e.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/vinab.se\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/02\/c911d323-f47f-4c23-aa2f-7a672ff5693e-300x135.jpg 300w, https:\/\/vinab.se\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/02\/c911d323-f47f-4c23-aa2f-7a672ff5693e-768x347.jpg 768w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px\" \/><\/figure>\n<\/figure>\n\n<p>VINAB&#8217;s commitment during the period has been:  <\/p>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Dismantling of existing walkways and installations for the installation of new equipment.  <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Manufacture and assembly of approximately 100 tons of steel structures\/service platforms adapted for the new equipment.  <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Dismantling of the existing extraction hood.  <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Manufacture and assembly of new movable extraction hood approx. 60 tons with associated service platforms.  <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Modifications to the ductwork for the new extraction hood.  <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Assembly of new alloy equipment such as pockets, conveyors, flexowells and feeders in cooperation with our long-term partner Tormets OY  <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" height=\"462\" src=\"https:\/\/vinab.se\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/02\/4.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-7574\" srcset=\"https:\/\/vinab.se\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/02\/4.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/vinab.se\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/02\/4-300x135.jpg 300w, https:\/\/vinab.se\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/02\/4-768x347.jpg 768w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-pullquote has-white-color has-vivid-cyan-blue-background-color has-text-color has-background\"><blockquote><p>&#8220;The new lathe was commissioned at the beginning of August and has allowed us to increase our precision and versatility in machining. With a 3rd Y axis, the new lathe opens up possibilities for more advanced machining and milling directly on the lathe.
