Local anchoring and increased capacity in northern Sweden
The deal is part of VINAB’s strategy to be a strong player with local roots in northern Sweden. The companies complement each other and together with Nord Svets & MEK AB in Norrbotten, VINAB will have better resources, increased expertise and a local presence in Piteå, in order to meet the needs of local industries. Björn Nordsvan, founder and CEO of Nord Svets & MEK AB in Norrbotten, will continue to have a role as site manager at VINAB’s department in Piteå.
