About the service
As an Estimator in Industrial Pipes you will play a central role in the business. You will have a wide range of responsibilities including estimating and tendering for the requests we agree within the department and the company. Responsible for evaluating and following up on estimates and monitoring the progress of projects, you will ensure that we deliver against the requirements set out in the contract. You will also actively look for new projects to bid on. As an estimator, you work closely with the marketing manager, site manager and other colleagues.
Main tasks
- Customer and supplier visits
- Organize and manage tender and quotation flows
- Preparation of estimates and tender documents
- Analyze drawings and specifications to determine materials and labor costs
- Monitor the market for interesting commitments
- Plan and prepare for the start of the project together with the project team
- Work closely with project management, subcontractors and suppliers to ensure project success
- Verification and certification of supplier invoices
- Budget and forecasting
- Assist in procurement and contractual matters
We are looking for you who
- Have a university degree in the relevant field, or have acquired equivalent knowledge through longer work experience
- We would like to see that you have experience of running projects in industrial pipes or have had similar roles before
- Have good knowledge of Swedish and English. If you are fluent in Finnish, we consider it an advantage.
- Has a B driving license
- Have good computer skills (office package)
