It’s a bit drizzly this morning in Kiruna, but inside the heat at Vinab, the lamp of diligence is shining. They have gathered and cleaned the workshop in honor of the day. Otherwise, it’s almost an ordinary day at work, except that today is the official opening of the new workshop premises. In the break room, about fifteen happy employees are sharing a large sandwich cake.

No major changes have taken place overnight. But for a few months now, work has been going on feverishly in the premises at Takvägen 8. In addition to expanding office space and conference rooms, the workshop has also been renovated and the latest addition, a new CNC lathe, is now in place.

Marcus Lundin, site manager, explains:

“It feels good, we moved to these premises in February, and the workshop here is under constant development. We want to grow and become bigger, so it feels great to have finally reached a starting point. That now we are in place and now we are going forward.”

He emphasizes that the development does not stop here. Vinab continues to expand and recruit new employees.

He continues,

“We are a close-knit team of ten or fifteen people here in Kiruna, so the challenge is to grow with the mixed skills and employees we have. It will certainly take some time, but I am convinced that we will succeed in finding even more skills to become even more employees here in the future.”
